Administrative Assistant AWS

Amega West Services is a subsidiary of Carpenter Technology Corporation based in Houston, Texas. Amega West is a leading manufacturer of high-precision complex components for measurement while drilling (MWD) and logging while drilling (LWD), drill collars, stabilizers and other down-hole tools that have been used for directional oil and gas drilling. Carpenter acquired Amega West in December 2010 to provide a more integrated value-added supply chain to oil and gas customers. This growing business operates within the corporation's Performance Engineered Products division and maintains more than ten strategically located facilities throughout the United States, Canada, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates.
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Act as the liaison between Amega West Regional Administration and the Corporate Amega West office in the implementation and execution of corporate responsibilities including, Human Resources and Accounting.
Answering incoming calls
Assist District Management with general Office Administration, Purchase Order Transactions, Production Reports and Record Keeping.
Assist Regional Administrator with New Employee Orientation, Payroll, Forms completion, Training and Human Resource tasks for employees within the District.
Assist Regional Administrator with District Level Reporting requirements on Monthly Performance & Monthly Financial Performance.
May on occasion, assist Regional Quality Assurance Rep with Basic Level Quality Assurance related tasks.
High School Diploma or GED accepted with 2 years of applicable experience.
Must be able to operate office machines and computer with applicable software necessary for Amega's daily functions.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
